HI, i’M LANCY!

I am a photographer. Over the past 5 years, I have worked as a sports photographer for Track and Field as well as a photographer for portraits and weddings. During my time at the University of Washington, I was hired as a journalist photographer for The Daily at UW, an event photographer for The Hub, and a videographer/content creator for UW DAWG Pack.

Those experiences brought me to believe in the power of practice to refine one's craft. My expertise developed through hands-on experiences and I seize every opportunity to hone my skills. Over the years, I've embraced diverse gigs and worked with different styles, people, occasions, and locations; graduation photos, academic conferences, stage performances, and wedding ceremonies. Through this journey, I've cultivated a distinct personal style with a preference for soft lighting and clear focal points in my composition. I commit to bringing meaningful experiences for people through the best angles and highlighting their genuine beauty.
